I have been busy making Father’s Day card for all the dad we have in our family…

My husband, his dad, his step dad and my dad.  I also found out that we are hosting Father’s Day dinner here 2 days ago, so I made a last minute banner this morning and it took me almost 2 hours! The letters “HAPPY” are in 4 layers, so glueing them together took me a while.  But it was fun!

Happy Father’s Day!

I bought some paper stack before I bought Cricut machine and the paper is too thin for intricate cuts.  Sigh…

So I joined Cricut related group on FB and asked around.  So far http://www.archiversannex.com  seems to have good prices.  I ordered some from them, so I will see how the quality is.  I should receive my order next week.

My first 3D card!  Not as nicely done as I wanted, but it was a good practice.  Right now, I am making wedding congratulation card for my friend, 3 father’s day cards and 2 birthday cards for June.  I finished 1 father’s day card, designing the 2nd father’s day card, congrats card, and 1 birthday card, so 3 more to go!  It is so fun, I don’t want to go to sleep…

I made my first birthday card with Cricut Explorer!  It is so much fun!

Cricut Explorerで初めて作った誕生日カード。まだまだだな〜。

I used a different paper for the lacy design, but the paper was too thin, so it ripped…  I posted a comment in a Facebook group and found out that I need to figure out custom setting for this paper.  Since I have a lot of printed papers with this weight, I need to figure out which setting works.

I have been thinking about getting a die cut machine and finally got a Cricut Explorer a week ago.  Love it!!!

I am still learning how to use their design program, but I have made a few things so far.

It is sooooo fun!  I have a few birthday cards, father’s day cards and wedding card to make for June…  But I can’t wait to make heat transfer design to iron on to one of my shirts!

I always liked scrapbooking, but did not do much of it…   But at one point, i bought some supplies and die cuts.

Then one day, I decided to make birthday cards for my friends and families.  I have bought lots of papers since then.  I have been enjoying the creation process, but I could really use Cricut!  It will be my next purchase.

My friend told me that she was pregnant and we were going to visit them that weekend, so I quickly looked through what was in my bins and made this.  Not too bad for the first one!  At least I think so…
